just got all the right door stuff from an 01.. still need the lock mechanism at the far right of the door.. ill go back sometime this week to get it.. but i was hooking up all the wires and i noticed 2 of them, some of the pegs were there in the male side but there was no female contact on the other plug, but it still hooked up.. hoping its nothing important so i can just plug n go.. i also noticed the panels out of the 01 at the bottom corners are more boxy than my round.. hopefully i can mod it up..

i know on my truck i needed to replace my door because it had sagged long that it messed up the latch area and i didnt want to weld in new metal and deal with that so i got a red door. i dont know what year its off of but its all power with the infinity sound. my truck is a BASE model im pretty sure the only option it has is 4x4. but it had manual windows and locks. all i had to do was take the old door off and put the new one on. while the door was off the boot around the wires was off too and i reached into the hole and pulled the second connector out. plugged both connectors in to my new door and it works.

oh i also had to put the circuit breaker in the fuse panel on the side of the dash also for the windows. the only thing that dont work is the power locks. i dont know why but im not to worried about it cause the passenger side is still all manual lol.

Good luck with the install. I looked this up for my 01. I don't like to jump into things so I did my homework before I started buying things. If you have a base model truck, plan on replacing the ctm If your lucky enough to have a premium or highline ctm, then your one lucky dog. FSM is your friend, learn how to use it!

If the ctm is the wire harness that plugs under the dash driver side and runs behind the dash to each door, then I got one out of a 2000. Will that work

I guess you will find out. Compare part numbers for new oem for 99 vs. 2000. There may be some programming required at the dealer end too, to make it work.

In the fuse block on the drivers side dash there. A slot for the power windows, power locks and power seats. U need to. Get a circuit breaker for that slot. I think a fuse would work also. Plug it in. That's all I did. Case the wiring. Was all there for the power Windows on my 97. Like I said the locks don't work. There us a slot for those too. I will check. After work. Sorry for any typos I'm on my phone
