I took it to the shop today. They already have it torn down (Told me what was wrong) and after I said keep on going they tore it down to the case and pressure washed it painted it and started getting parts together. They will have it all done some time Thursday. They are installing a new torque converter all new bands and clutches seals, a couple hard parts had to be replaced the overdrive piston and retainer, new valve body. The transmission was really burnt up. I know when I dropped it I pulled gunk's of metal off from the magnets. It's all being done for $1500.00 I've been looking up parts and it seems to me a pretty good price.

Once I get it back and hooked up the guy told me to bring it down and they will check it out....if it's all ok they will warranty it for 24 months 12,000 miles. I got talking to him about the one way check valve on the line going to the cooler and I remembered seeing a upgrade for it on this forum. I would love a link.....I flushed the lines 2 years ago and when I pulled the lines off a good amount of fluid came out of both of them so everything seems good. But I will flush them again.

Look in the FAQ/DIY section for check valve delete.
