Default Exhaust question

So im getting exhaust put on soon and i bought 2 super 44's a high flow magnaflow cat and 4'' outlet and 18'' long tips. I want my truck to hae a nice deep throaty sound to it and it can be loud as long as it has the tone. My question i guess would be what size pipe should i go with without ulosing all my power. I am runnin a y off the cat into the mufflers then out the back at a 45 if that matters. thanks in advance

I know you're using flowmasters, but when I bought my magnaflow, their website had a chart for recommended pipe sizes depending on how many pipes you were running. They recommended up to a 3" pipe with a single pipe which is what I have with a 18x4 stainless tip and 2-2.5 with duals. I would imagine 2.5 would be good for your application.
