Default Heater Hose Replacement

Finished the heater core replacement on my 98 Ram, 5.9, 4 X 4, auto, air. I can't find a replacement for the heater hose, on the left side of the engine that goes from the water pump ( ? ) to the heater coil. It's 2 part and nobody seems to list or carry the part that connects to the engine. Rock auto does carry a part listed as a bypass hose. Goodyear 63333 engine coolent by pass hose. Seems crazy this should be a problem. Thanks

Just use one piece of hose that is the correct size. If you already have both the soft hoses, and are only lacking the union... grab one from a junkyard, or, re-use you old one, if you can.

get the ones from Rock Auto. All you really care about are the ends that are prebent to 90 degrees. You can do anything you want in between,

passenger side needs a 90* on the manifold end and a straight end at the core.
IIRC drivers side needs a straight or 45* ? at the water pump and a 90* at the core.

i took my old hoses to the parts store and just bought 2 new ones that had the same general shape. i have no idea what they were actually for. i also bought 2 dorman 5/8 heater hose couplers and spliced those right in the middle of both sides for easy heater core flush.
