Step on the pedal, and see what that number does. It should go up smoothly, to greater than 75..... if it does anything other than that, replace the TPS.

The reason I asked him about the % thing, is because my Genisys starts out at 11% and goes to 70% at WOT. But it is not as smooth in between as testing the volts with a meter. As you have described many times.

Good point. Sometimes, the older technology is better for the job....

Like has been said, get the Haynes out, and check it with a multimeter.

I only have the Chrysler shop manual and im not sure if its the same, but it checked good. However, the low side is where I am concerned and according to my text, its good if greater than 200 mv! You would think there would be a maximum high value fir the low side, unless the PM just recalibrates rvrry time with whatever value you start at.

The Haynes says 0.5 to 1.5 volts.

Thanks for that. Wow better info in Haynes on this! I assume that's the low end accepted range. What does it say about the upper?
