When I was living in Las Vegas I happened upon the scene of an accident right down the road from our house. A fairly new Yukon had plowed into the back of a parked transit bus. The impact was so great that the frame of the YuppieCon was bent, the roof folded downward, and side window glass broken. The windshield, what remained of it, was on the hood. The transit bus was taken away by a wrecker.

The next day we heard the rest of the story. The YuppieCon was going 50MPH (five over the limit) and the driver never even touched the brakes. He was texting his wife, the girl's mother, saying they'd be home in a few minutes. The kid never went home again. The blood on the back of the bus was hers.

I hope the mother had good sense enough to divorce the moron.

Not that it actually stops anyone and I'm not sure about the other 49 states but, texting while driving in Georgia is illegal.

But again, that doesn't stop anyone from doing it.

Texting and driving is illegal, but talking and driving is tolerated in Nebraska. I despise both of them, being a truck driver, I watch all the idiots on their phones, driving around like children in bumper cars at an amusement park. Damm blinkers are 2 inches from the steering wheel, and the tards are too busy with their phones to even bother with 'em.

As far as the OP goes. What a waste of a dodge. Serves you right, jerk. Put your phone away.

Use the phone and get some pics of the damage, and then leave the phone in the center console for the next go around
