I once saw a bumper sticker that said, "It's a car, not a telephone booth on wheels. HANG UP AND DRIVE!"

The first time I was driving down a flooded road and the rear end slid out do to bald tires and flooding. This time partying, trying to get laid, and texting at 2am all added up to a bad nite and me wrecking my truck and a whole ton of other problems.

I'm gonna guess your around 20 or so, still young and dumb. This is when we're supposed to make mistakes, we've got the rest of our lives to make up from it.

Texting and driving isn't really a good idea, but I think you'll find that most people do it at one point in time or another, myself included, I'm not defending it, just sayin' it happens.

Flooded roads can be dangerous enough even without bald tires.

Your second accident, as you admitted, was pretty stupid, but as long as you don't kill anyone, yourself included, then it's a lesson learned.

And if you actually LEARN the lesson, than it was kinda sorta worth it.

Good Judgement comes from Experience. Experience is usually the result of bad judgement.

So long as you are in one piece, and able to move around under your own power, it's all good.

Don't go thinking you've got 5h17 figured out just yet. Every time you give yourself that credit, life will jump up and kick you in the teeth.

Ain't that the truth. Just when you think you know all the answers, they change all the damn questions.

And: Thank You for your service.
