I'm no expert on lifts of any kind , whether they be for 2 or 4wd , but, it doesn't look like there are any shocks on the rear.

lol. no there isnt. when the previous owner cut the bed cage off the upper shock mounts went with. im holding off putting upper mounts on untill i figure out what will be best to do with the rear suspension, and honestly its so stiff in the rear it has absolutely no affect on the drivability lol

Pretty cool. Nice truck. Im wanting to figure out how to fabricate and incorporate coil-overs on mine. Trying to design a type of midtravel suspension as well

nice truck alot of work done to the front suspension.

How wide are the rear springs, and seeing how theres not much to the rear it all boils down to the springs, getting shocks in there might help it.

Yea shocks would help lol. There's nothing there to cushion the rebound and bouncing of the springs...

those spring packs are nice, but they look way to heavy for that truck. you might be able to ditch one of the mid leafs to lighten it up some. then add some shocks to dampen the rebound. that should smoothen out the ride, but still maintain the flex and travel you are looking for.

this is just stuff I see taht I would work on, jus my .02
bottom a arms seem a little on the weak side, id run a skid plate from the very front of the frame down and under the ifs, truss the rear axle, and take that coil and front shock out and put in a real coil over.
for ur stiff rear end

Rear springs are 2.5 inches wide

Rear springs are way stiff I was thinking about losing a leaf just unsure which one

I know shocks will help but on the other hand its so stiff there is no travel for the shockmachines to rebound lol

I have also yet to take it off road due to a dieing posi unit and I need new front controls arm bushings and limiting straps

Im waiting to do the shocks until I get the setup and ride height figured out. Its a little high in the rear.

And yes skid plate deffinitly...
