Check to see if the wire just came out the back of the socket. This happened with my turn signal. I bought a new socket and when I went to cut the wires and splice them in, I found out one wire was ripped off so it didn't put power or continuity through. I felt stupid because I just spent $20 on something I didn't need and already splice one wire in lol.

I am not familiar with that model trans, but it looks as though it is a hall effect sensor. Connect ohmmeter and quickly move a piece of steel (like a screwdriver) in fornt of the sensor and away several times. While it is in fromt of the sensor, you should see continuity, then open.

Yes that is correct according to the 2 wire connection that it is a "Hall" type sensor. Regardless, it would have continuity or at least resistance of some kind because the leads connect, which there is nothing. I will update tomorrow.

It's fixed.

The transmission speed sensor was the issue for the transmission not shifting correctly as I had thought.

However as everyone else thought, when it went out it took out the ABS speed sensor on the rear differential as well. Some how they must be on the same circuit. So it was 2 problems happening at spontaneously. I checked for resistance on both old sensors and had nothing which also spelled them being bad.

Thanks all!
