I have a 96 ram 4x4 with the 5.2. Can anyone give me the link for a new computer for my truck ?

Theree may be others that are reputable, and of course a bunch on ebay.

Are you sure yours is dead? Did you try to have it reprogrammed?

Not sure one of my buddies had the same problem and it was his computer. It started out hesitating and then went to dying at stop lights and stuff and not it hesitates sometimes and sometimes it has power and sometimes it doesn't.

Have you tried cleaning the throttle body (paying particular attention to the IAC passages.....) and resetting the PCM, and verifying that the IAC actually does something?

ya there other problems you wanna check out like haveing a clogged cat, or cleaning the iac or a new tps or oxygen sensors . also may need a tune up or plenum needs fixed . lots of cheap stuff to do first that most likly causeing the problem

It has had a tune up and everything all I know is he had the same problem and they replaced the ecm and now it's fixed

Trouble is, there are many different things that can cause the exact same symptoms..... need to figger out which one is actually the problem, without throwing thousands of dollar worth of parts at it.

disconnect the battery

but that will be a temperary fix till the computer learns the bad part again and start to do the ssame syamptoms.
