pulled schematic for ecu and found:

A22 - BAT PWER
A2- IGN PWR
A32 - GROUND

CHECKED ALL- GOOD

PCM will ground coils, and injectors. Remind me again: Are you getting spark at the plugs?

no spark at coil
no injector pulse

no ground signal at neither

jumped asd relay to get power at coils and injectors ,
but still no ground trigger from pcm

any chance i have a cam sensor issue that maybe fried original computer?...now maybe it fried this new ecu also?....hmmmmmm
hate to go down that road.....

Cam and crank sensors are only five volts, even if they were dead shorts, shouldn't smoke the PCM...... shouldn't...... No communication is suspicious though...... I wonder if the PCM even has a clue at the moment... (wouldn't be the first time a "new" part was dead out of the box....) But, you are getting fuel pump prime.... right? So, it seems the PCM IS doing something.....

Check for power at pin 16 in the data link connector...... (powered thru fuse 12 in the junction block. (side of the dash))

I would be somewhat tempted to verify the PCM grounds as well...

2 in C1 (black.) Pins 31 and 32, the case itself may also be grounded to the body.....

and just as a shot in the dark..... with the ASD relay jumpered.... check C3 pin 12, and see if you are getting power there..... (that's what the PCM uses to determine if the ASD relay is actually supplying power......)

checked for power at pin 16- ok, pwer at fuse 12- ok

on connector c1 (black)- my pins go up to 31....there is no pin 32 on any of the three connectors....i have ground on pins #30 and #31

with asd relay jumped....i checked c3 pin 12 and there is good power

hhhhhmmmm.... couldn't be easy huh?

I want to know why you don't get power to the coils and injectors for at least a few seconds when you turn the ignition on...... That SHOULD happen. Is the PCM even commanding the ASD relay on when your first turn the key? (prior tests indicate that no, it is not.....) But the fuel pump runs..... ARGH!

Check resistance across the cam sensor........ see what ya get. I wonder if it isn't shorted, and causing an ASD event..... that might explain things...... Might.....

as in, infinite resistance? If you can, have someone crank the engine, (sensor hooked up) and see what the output wire is doing.

Pin 1 is sensor output to PCM
Pin 2 is a ground thru the PCM
Pin 3 is five volt supply.

According to the wiring diagrams, the sensor is supposedly a potentiometer..... So I would expect to see varying voltage out on the sensor output wire.... (I have no clue how the PCM interprets that into which cylinder it should fire the injector on.....)

the volt meter is all over the place... 4 v to .3 vts
i have a cam sensor on the way from chrysler that i ordered 3 days ago...should be here tomorrow but i doubt that will fix it

its probably a wire that backed out somewhere...but i have looked everywhere from pcm to under the fuse box, i see nothteing,

the thing that gets me is that i actually drove the truck to the bank and back about 5 miles round trip and got it back to the shop and shut it down , never refired
