Default Sway Bar End Link Bushing

Hey yall, is it normal for the sway bar end link bushings to crack? I know its not normal, but I wanted to check if I should replace them or not. the end links are still fine, but the little blue bushings have some cracking in them (I guess from drying up and just getting old)

No, they aren't supposed to be cracked.... if you can replace just the bushings, go for it, if you can't, replace the links. Doesn't have to happen RIGHT NOW though. When they start making noise, swap 'em out.

Thanks. I just wanted to make sure it was ok. I'm on a "drive it till it breaks" budget so I will just keep on rolling and keep an eye on it for now. Are the links hard to replace?

Not really, for the most part..... 30 minute job if all goes well. Consider that they hang out UNDER the truck though.. so, rust and dirt ARE going to be issues.

Alright well like I said I won't be getting into replacing that now, but could you point me in the direction of a good write up? And what kind of noise would it make, like a clunk, or a squeak?

Yeah, leave 'em for now. When the bushing start to disintegrate, replace 'em.
