Ok here we go. Thanks for the info, Hope this works. If it does, its pics of the old pump, the new pump and the old T-stat.

Glad you were able to see the photos. Yes, The truck is running much cooler. Now I have to fix the next problem. Ticking noise coming from passanger side of engine. Sounds like a rocker arm.

Not sure if it's a lifter. Just changed oil. Put heavier oil in and an oil treatment. Let's see if it quiets it down.

would you say the stuff on thermostat was from a radiator repair additive like bars all ?

I wonder if maybe the tap water is really high in minerals too in your area. Maybe using distilled water would be a good idea? I also wonder if some stop leak stuff was put in there causing that too.
