Unhappy Rear Window leaking still

It's been leaking for 1 1/2 years. I am now tired of cleaning up water every time it rains. Today I went to the Dodge dealer to get a new rear window gasket. They told me there isn't a part listed for it. They said it's just glued in. I know that they are glued in, but isn't there a black rubber gasket thing around the back of the window. In can't find it anywhere. Long story short, but it's all cut up from a box cutter, and it's missing chunks out of it. (crazy old man thought he was trying to fix it). The window leaks, and I need the replace the black gasket thing, and reseal the window. Thanks

There is indeed a seal around there.... although I can't find one just off hand online. I can find a Whole window, with seal, for about 270 on LMC truck......

It's an encapsulated window. Meaning the molding (the part your thinking is the seal) is part of the window. Just get a new window from an auto glass shop. Upgrade to a slider. They will lay a new bead of urethane to glue it in, which is actually the seal.

Didn't we just have a thread with pretty much the same title? It might not be the window gasket itself. It could be the the two roof seals, or the third brake light for that matter.

I had the same problem a few weeks ago I got my leak to stop after a few weeks go to advanced auto and get some windshield sealant#81730 and seal all the way around the back window. Then get some silicone that comes in a big white tube at advanced auto also permantex#85913 power bead# 66 and seal the inside and outside of the 3rd brake light.aslo silicone the black roof seals over each door. I did all this and my darn leak stoped but I had to seal up everything before it did. http://www.amazon.com/Permatex-81730.../dp/B000BKEBO0 and also http://www.amazon.com/Permatex-85913...719589&sr=1-72 both sold at advanced auto.let me know how you make out.
