Default Think my A/C compressor bearing/clutch is shot

was stopping and smoking as i was looking at it with the truck running when i was checking my tranny fluid. looked like it was about to catch on fire from the smoke. i stopped the engine and am letting it sit right now but looking for suggestions. still in the mid 90's around here during the day so a/c would be kinda nice but i dont have the bones to replace the whole assembly

Sounds like the compressor is considering seizing up...... not much you can do about that, aside from replace the thing. Evac and recharge comes into play there as well.
