Default 1995 dodge missing vary bad (please help)

  • hi i have a 1995 dodge 1500 ram 360 4x4 ext. cab and i just bought the truck a month ago run good untill batt. fell over now its missing realy bad and poping out the tail pipe i put new wires and plugs in it if u have any ideas please tell me thank you

How's your battery? Did it spill any nastieness on any wires? Did you do cap and rotor as well? Have you had a look at the plenum? (see stickied plenum thread at top of this forum for more info.)

Seems like an incongruous chain of events unless the positive terminal of the battery contacted the body and sent massive amounts of electricity through it, frying one or more electronic components.

Some additional information about the exact circumstances would be helpful; for example, did the truck immediately start running badly as soon as the battery tipped over? Are there any noticeable scorch marks near the battery compartment, and/or on the positive terminal? Lastly, did you install a battery hold-down yet?

+1, need more info. That battery falling over can screw up/ruin a lot of sensors.

Thanks guys I. Had this problem with my 97 and a coil pack fixed it but I have put 2 on this truck now I'm thinkin maybe o2 sensor because the cat is busted up on the inside . Any more ideas let me know thanks !
