I believe a K&N 1535 filter was the largest filter that fits the Mopar air hat. Had to special order mine, none of the local parts stores had one lying around. It's a stock part for a 5.0 Ford Mustang from '83-'85, IIRC.

Those are not the valvecovers for the MAGNUM motor. They are the LA style valvecovers.

Magnum valvecovers are 191 from summit.

And i don't know where you are getting 87.50.

LA style: 112 bucks

Magnum: 191 bucks

UNLESS you are talking about the air hat. But when you said "Them" I figured you were talking about valvecovers.

Many people use LA valve covers on Magnums, just use LA gaskets. They do have the potential to leak more easily however because they have half the bolts.

they have a filter, but it is paper. And with a paper filter, you might as well use your stock air box with a 25 dollar Spectre cloth (HPr) filter. I run my stock airbox with the HPr filter.

SO, you need the N&N filter WITH the air hat:
Air Hat: 87 bucks
K&N Cloth Filter: 45 bucks

Start saving now.
