Default Mopar performance air cleaner

I know this sounds stupid but what size mopar performance round air cleaner should I buy for my 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 with the 5.9 360? I see 3 different sizes on summitt and dont really know if it's a 2 barrel, 3 barrell or four barrel. I just wan't to get the right one. It is a completely stock intake right now except for the 14x3 edelbrock I rigged on it about a year ago which I never could get to fit just right. I'm thing of going with the 2.75x 12 if my memory serves me right.

Thanks for any input guys!

What are you hoping to gain? Besides bling?

Well my question wasn't directed to you. You have all kinds of mods.

If the OP is hoping for some kind of miracle, forget it.

It is not quite 13 inches, like 12.75. You need to get a special K&N brand filter for it at 45 dollars.

If you are running paper, then it will kill your performance. I took mine off for the stock airbox. Plus the thing was noisy as heck. Sounded like a vacuum cleaner under the hood.

If you REALLY want to get some gains, get one of those 14x3 air filters with the lid style filter.

65 bucks. But they sell the whole shebang for 139 bucks. I had one for my camaro.

ALSO do not get anything taller than 3 inches. Or it will not fit under your hood.

There is only one mopar performance air filter. i think you are looking at the 9 inch jeep filter.

This is the one you need:

Get a 12.75 x 2.75 inch cloth element or you will be very unhappy. Even then, I would not think it would really help.

You are better off using this: I gained 2.5 MPGs with this filter, however, it lets by a lot of air. But it is only 17 bucks and is easy to install.

Also, you will need a breather for the left side of your engine if you get that. I have mine on the wrong side of the engine in the pic. The one that is on the right side was switched to the left side, and the one on the left I filled with RTV to plug it. Otherwise your PCV system will not function.

I think you can fit 3 if you have a leveling kit or a body lift ?
