2011 Dodge Ram SLT, 4x4 . Driving from San Jose, CA to Sana Cruz. Fuel pump went out on Hwy 17, one of the more dangerous highways on the West Coast. Realize, when your engine dies, you have no power steering or brakes. To make matters worse, imagine a vehicle that has no power steering or brakes is 10 times worse. Something to do with the system, imagine putting all your power and strength, using your whole body to survive a serious harm. Week 2, still no fuel pump replacement. At this point Dodge is saying they should have one in a week, I strongly doubt it. Vehicle is under warranty which pays $35/day. To rent a truck, which I need for my work, costs $80/day. On my 3rd Dodge truck, will never own one again, Toyota?

No, the precat sensors are for the engine fuel trim, needed so you don't run rich. Rear sensors are just to monitor the cat, don't need'em, but will have a constant CEL without them.
