Default What do you guys think?

Okay so i have a 2001 dodge ram quad cab 4x4 1500 5.9

My fenders are rusting,my doors are a little, and my rockers are a little, whats new

So my idea is to buy the spray in bedliner and roll it on the rockers, and fenders, keep it mind that i do plan on selling the truck in 2-3 years so i dont care to fix the rust on there, but what do ya'll think about me doing that?

thanks

Lots of folks here have done just that. Trouble is, if you already have holes, it won't help. The crap that causes rust will still be able to get at the metal from the INSIDE, and the rust will continue.

What immediately came to my mind is "lipstick on a pig".

I'd rather buy a truck that has rust issues than one that has rust issues plus a lot of bedliner that has to be scraped off before they can be dealt with.

I'd either fix it right or do nothing. I do feel your pain though; rust sucks. But then again, with oxygen, we'd all die, so it all works out.

You could always buy some fender flares to cover the rust on the fenders.
