How much more do you have to talk the guy down from 500. You can probably talk him down 75 bucks and it will still be a good deal.

BTW, this makes me wince about junking my 1996. It drove fine, but needed a new transfer case. It was leaking, probably because of a crack. Had some ***** too. I took the fastman off, injectors off, the headers, and the Mopar PCM. Because of that, the wrecker said they would not give me any money for the truck. It even had rims and BFG All terrains (33/12.5/15) with only 15K miles on them.

What engine/trans ya got in that, and if you are scrapping it, how much would you just sell it for outright? (I could use a parts donor.)

This. I wholeheartedly concur. If the trans is indeed rebuilt, you cannot go wrong here.

went and looked a the truck it needs the following
plenum
tcase(think it shot cause it has baddd noises and lever wont move to 4wd.... and is empty on fluid lol)
front drive shaft
tune up
driver side door
and possibly other odds and ends

havent decided if its worth it.. it does have a rebuilt tranny and the engine isnt blown... good shape for bopdy and interior(even engine and under side is beautiful). No coolant in oil and no oil in coolant.. soo what do you guy thing? it does have the 5.9 360

Differences on the intake is just EGR. My 96 just had a block off plate. (I don't think it had EGR from the factory.) Aside from that, they are the same.
