A quick update. A 34 gal tank works fine. Bolts right up and uses the same size tank straps as the 26 gal. Also the fuel pump assembly is the same as well. Installed without a problem and has been running for a week.

Glad you got it fixed with no problem. I did chack my straps and they look good. Been so dry hear for a couple of years, rust isn't a big problem.

Have you had any issues with the fuel gauge being inaccurate?

What cab and bed style 2500 did you get that tank off of?

I would like to do that swap to my Ram when my fuel pump goes. I only have 75k on the truck now so it wont be for a while. I just want to keep an eye out for one cheap now.

Thanks!

I just filled up this morning. My 34 gallon tank takes ~24 gallons to fill when the low fuel light comes on. $93.43 @ 24.21 gallons. I get 2 weeks out of a tank.

Only 6 miles to work, and I put a lot of miles on my Buick project this season.
