Default How would this be instead of "keggermod & Plenum fix?

So I stumbled upon this on ebay (yes I know you cant trust ebay), but I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this thing and if it is a viable option.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MOPAR...item5882e82ab0

Cost wise it would be about the same. Any info would be appreciated!

The Air Gap intake and the issues associated with using it have been posted here. Do some searching and you'll find many threads.

As Drew pointed out, that intake uses a carburetor, and using it would require a hell of a lot more time and engineering than a plenum fix/kegger mod would. I don't know enough about the FI version to comment, but that said, I'd just fix what ya got.

The price is right, but then you'd have to buy 1000's of dollars of equipment to machine the injector bosses. Plus it states the AC won't clear the thermostat . So no AC either.

Nice-looking carb there - looks like the 4150's I used to have on my 392 Loadstar 1700's. Finally went to Edelbrocks; never could get the needles and seats to behave for some damn reason.

I was just about set to go back to carbs, points, and manual chokes until I figured out my weird ignition problem on my '94 318; failing CKPS causing weak/intermittent spark on only certain cylinders (resolved in "Interesting spark problem"). Now I love modern technology again, but I still love the old stuff too. In fact, one of my 1700's still has - wait for it - carb, points, and manual choke. Before long, it'll have twin turbos, MPFI, and electronic ignition, but that's another thread for another board.
