Default tranny problems??

i have a 2003 ram 1500 4x4 with the 5.9l 360 and the 46re trans. it only does this when the temp is below 60 degrees. but when i start it and put it in Reverse, it will roll for a little bit ans then just stop feels like you hit something. i have tried to give it just a little gas but its locked up. if i have been driving around for awhile and put it in reverse it seems to work ok. also if i start it in neutral it seems to work ok. what could cause this? all my other gears work great.

Check the adjustment on your shift linkage. (shot in the dark...) Does your T-case make any noises it shouldn't?

It just makes that shifting noise and kinda jerks a little. Like any car or truck. Nothing out of the ordinary. Thats wats weird. And just reverse.
