Need to address the reason the cat got plugged in the first place as well. Have you fixed your plenum yet?

Yea, replaced 3 weeks ago now. Just fixing what damage it caused. Should have the new cat in by noon tomorrow.

Thanks foks for the info. Truck is all back to the way it should be. I know for next time I do exhaust work i'm going to have to buy a torch so I don't have to hacksaw through 3 inch steel piping.

Anyways I replaced both O2 sensors. Got them really cheap so I said what the heck. If it helps my mileage i'll take em. I'm keeping my eye on the fuel pump, don't know if it's still on its way out or not.

i have the same bogging problem intermitantly(once every 8 months to a year)and its deff not a back pressure problem as im running open headers, im pretty sure its a fuel issue but every time i go to put a fuel pressure gauge on it, the problem goes away

Interesting, yea truck seemed to run fine today. I'll be taking the boat out possibly one more time this season. Wait to see once the loads put on it. See how it runs then. My exhaust system is brand new now except for the headers so if it happens again i'll be looking at the fuel system.
