Default cylinder 1 misfire

i have had a cylinder one misfire on and off for the past 2 months now. it only misfires at idle. i have switched the plug to another cylinder and the wire aswell but the misfire stays at cylinder 1. the only way i can get it to temporarily go away is if i reset all adaptives, but that lasts about a month.

im goin to switch the injector to a different cylinder and look closely for a possible intake leak or a cracked head.

was wondering if anyone had any insight as to what else to look for, thanks

You might also try routing the wires in this fashion, http://dodgeram.info/tsb/1998/18-48-98/18-48-98-v8.htm
