The link is right to full size dodge trucks '94-'01. There is no exact ram 1500 search so it's all full size.
I found this website and am going to be bidding on a '09 2500 for my boss tomorrow.

good luck, sounds like one heck of a project. My buddy did it in his Chevy though, I wish mine was a stick. I'm not much of a mechanic but I do know that Dodge started telling people to put ATF 3 or 4 in the transfer case in case the seal between that and the tranny broke, so your transmission wouldn't be contaminated with gear oil. I read that online somewhere, not sure how true it is being that I've never fiddled around with it but that's just my 10 cents so, I wouldn't think that that transfer case would bolt up to a 5 speed.

No it defintetly does, well if your lucky enough to have the same amount of splines on the shaft that connects the two. But as far as I can tell you can get new ones pretty easily.

yea and swaping parts like that in-between t-cases is not very difficult at all

no problem. I found the site on accident. I was just told to fine a rolled 2009-2011 ram 2500 with a cummins, and I found the site.

Thanks guys gonna try to have the one i have rebulit, seems like the easiest fix with the best long term options.

im in the process of doing this myself its not hard at all you have to look more then 50 miles i found my trans 900 miles away and everything else is online (autozone, 4wheelparts, and more) the biggist problem i had was the pcu but my dad found one in utah but you can do it and it should only cost about $2000

I'm trying to keep it under a grand lol, if it exceeds a grand I'll just rebuild my automatic.
