ill be taking pictures of mine when i put it in and any mods i have to do to the frame that way you can see what it takes i should have them up by the 15th of oct

The best way to do the swap is this way:
1. Sell your truck
2. Buy one with a manual

You can actually break even sometimes.

 

But my auto tranny died and I could probably part my truck out for about 1500-2000 (just got new tires) but other than that I wouldn't get a grand for my truck so this swap is totally feasible, oh and I paid 3 grand initially for the truck.

 

Chad, My sense of adventure is still intact, I have change out from auto to stick in a 82 chevy c10 and a 85 s10 in the past. It actually isnt that difficult finding the parts is the worst part. I just have never done it with a 4x4 and just dont have the time and managed to aquire enough funds to have it rebuilt, soo problem solved well I hope it is the truck is at the shop now! (crossing fingers)
