Badd EGR Valve?

Default Badd EGR Valve?

I have read all the threads on the plenum gaskets, But could it be possible that my egr valve could be stuck open..Just wanted to get opinions before I tore down my intake...Thanks

98 doesn't have an EGR valve.

Certainly possible. Take off it's vacuum line (while running) and use a vacuum line that has constant vacuum and put it on the EGR vavle, the engine should start running rough, if there's no change, it could be stuck open.

EDIT: Doh! Yup no EGR on a 98.

You don't have to double check. A 98 simply does not have one.
