plug color for the precat o2 sensor
Anyone know what color it is, i think i may of accidentally swapped them, my truck has 2 plugs for o2 sensors, a black on and a gray one. Anyone know which is upstream and which is down stream?
The upstream connector will have a shorter lead from the main harness, and comes out of it toward the front of the trans....... The manual doesn't seem to differentiate connector colors.... (which seems silly to me.)
thats how i have them hooked up but my mileage tanked pretty bad since i put in the new sensors this past weekend
edit: and the fsm sucks, it tells the color of some plugs but not a hole lot of them

It's not going to matter. Like I said, the o2 itself is the same. And what does a "barely blown" plenum mean? It's blown, plain and simple. Why bother with any of this until it's fixed. And keep waiting and looking at other things that won't do S--T. You'll be sorry when you get a cracked head.
i only have a very small amount of oil pooling and i dont burn very much(hence barely blown), besides im saving for an airgap, i was gonna go for a plate or an m1 but i decied on the airgap. and any extra mpgs now matter how small help, and if your making a refrence to my new wheels/tires, i needed some tires bad. my front ones were bald, and what i have now presented its self as a deal i could not pass up. i dont have to worry about clogging a cat because i dont have one. and yes i know i have a lot of things on my truck broken but it takes time and money to fix them and im short on both, so i fix what i can when i can
edit: sorry for the rant but i have a planned order on when i will be fixing what, and unless i start burning oil like crazy then the plenums not high on the list.
