That's called a "B-Pillar Blackout".

They peel right off, and can easily be replaced with black automotive pain, had it done on my truck just a few months ago.

In body shops, they use a large tan rubber eraser wheel with a collet in the middle on a drill to literally erase stickers off a vehicle without removing pain as long as the paint is not less than 30 days old on the truck. They cost about $15.00 or less & can be had form an auto body supply shop. Then you can either paint or just put new generic black decal material on & cut off the excess. I would suggest removing the rubber trim that borders the sticker before you use the eraser wheel, then just put it back in when you have restuck new sticker or painted it. If you paint it, I highly suggest you look up some of the threads on doing paint correctly, using a good sealing primer, wet sanding etc between layers or the paint may not stick for more than a year or 2 also. I did used to do a lot of auto body back in the day, but without a shop in my driveway I spent about 4 hours making it look really nice & it wont peel anytime soon. Then again, I would not be against anyone using the generic black sticker material also. Either option can be made to look very nice. Good luck!

Well i started to peel some away, the residue rubbed away with my finger nail, so i am going to remove them both this weekend. I think i might like it without them, but if i don't i can always buy replacements because these have already worn away.
