ANd about 3 gauges looking tacky...it is only tacky if you have gauges in your pillar that you can see in your stock gauge bezel. Like water and oil pressure. I have AF and tranny temp.
I was just pokin' fun at ya, no worries. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, after all.
Myself, I'm not particularly fond of pillar pods -- got no new car envy, I guess -- but the aftermarket gauges have to go somewhere and I'm even less fond of tab mounts. I could get by without the three that are going on the pillar, but I like to keep an eye on those things that can alert me to a problem before it grows big enough to be detectable with my (increasingly) feeble human senses.
I don't like the pillar pods all that much either(I have a brand new GlowShift tri pod if interested) , the one that goes on top of the steering column is ok. But I opted to do this, and install the only one that really matters. LOL
Im puttin in a vaccum gauge this weekend, how much vaccum do our trucks pull?
The same as any healthy engine. Between 16 and 22 Hg at idle. It's reading what the gauge does under different conditions/tests is what's important. I can LMGTFY or point you to this thread on the first page thats going on now https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...g-problem.html
or tell you to look in the Haynes or manual from the FAQ/DIY section. Come on now.
