Default in dash navigation

Has any one installed an in dash navigation in a 1996 RAM, if so, what brand and how difficult was it.

What brand/model are you considering? There are some that fit in the stock opening, with flip out screens and such. How much ya wanna spend?

I got a Jensen VM9214 which is a 7" flip out. It isn't nav, but you can easily add nav to it with 2 wires, or there is another model that comes with nav. I was fairly easy installing it, more difficult then a "regular" radio, but as long as you have the right parts you should be fine.

if you want a true double din you have to modify the dash i believe probably cheaper to go with a flip out...

I have been considering the dual brand flip up at bestbuy. on sale now for $350.00

I'd stay away from anything Dual or cheap. Unless you don't care about that.
