Default Back seat storage area?

I was checking out a truck on ebay, and noticed it has a walled-off area under the rear seat in the extended cab-

Where can I get this plastic kit from? It appears to be a Chrysler part, but I could be wrong. It doesn't seem to match in color. Maybe it was aftermarket. Anyway, I keep a rifle (SKS) under the back seat and I'd like to make it more secure and out of sight. I also just like the idea of some interior storage space for tools and whatnot.

I believe it was an option when new, but, not all trucks came with them.... I wouldn't mind one either... but, I am not able to come up with a source at the moment..... (haven't tried the dealer.....)

That looks like a dealer option.
Cause mine has the little storage area, but it doesn't look like that, that's for sure!

Mine has a bin option from the factory, but not quite like that one. The pic is in my garage album. It's more compartmentalized in the front with the large space in the back where the jack and handle is.

Edit... I though the pic was with the seat up, but i was wrong. You can see the base though. The option code was "CUE Rear Underseat Compartment Storage"

^I have what Archion has. I cut out a portion of the driver side and put in a 8" woofer box.

For your rifle, I don't think there is enough roof, but that is gut feel. I'd think you should make own custom box to make it align properly. I'm assuming flat.

I'm not much of a carpenter, but that's an idea. We used to build custom consoles for our squad cars back in the day. I usually supplied the beer and a friend would make it for me. I'd rather have something "factory" looking but it may be cost prohibitive if I can even find it.

Well that doesn't look anything like what's on the ebay auction. Must be some sort of aftermarket deal.

One thing is for sure, I gotta come up with some underseat storage. It's so handy. As tall as my truck is, and as short as I am, getting in and out of the tool box is very tedious.

Any good salvage yards around your way? It is just a bolt in, even from the factory. Probably could get one pretty cheap that way.

Not really. Most everything is picked clean. I'll keep an eye on ebay.
