Question no start

I have a 1998 ram 1500 318 auto 2x4...after re placing a bad fuel pump the truck ran for 2 days...when i hit small bumps/potholes the motor would stunble and the gages would drop for a second and then everything would come back...the last time i drove my truck it started stunbling as i turned on the blinker and trun into my driveway...it stalled and has not started since...
the fuel pump is running and does not shut off when at pressure, psi at the fuel rail is good but the ingecotres arent working, there is no fire, cranks over good, the A/C and ASD replay's click on and stay on or click on and keep clicking, inside the fuel gage sits below empty (there is 1/2 a tank of gas) volt gage does not come up, oil pressure and temp are working, the odomitor blinks, the O/D light blinks to the beat of the A/C and ASD relays...
I've check and cleaned all grounds and fuses, check crank sencor (its good) i had a friend check it with his scanner and it would not see the computer, changed computer, still no change...any help would be great...Thank you...

That still sounds a lot like a crank sensor to me...... check the connections for cam and crank sensors anyway, sounds like something is loose.

You said "as i turned on the blinker and trun into my driveway...it stalled and has not started since..."

If the vehicle doesn't start how are you getting oil pressure gauge to work? Mine stays at 0 till I start the truck.

"i had a friend check it with his scanner and it would not see the computer, changed computer, still no change... "

I have no idea what the problem is, but it seems like this is what you should be focusing on; what could cause a scanner to be unable to detect the existence of a computer, and also cause a no-spark condition.

***

And also cause this:

"when i hit small bumps/potholes the motor would stumble and the gauges would drop for a second and then everything would come back..."

Sounds like a bad connection somewhere; even maybe the ground for the computer itself. Start unplugging, inspecting, cleaning, and reconnecting every single connector you can find in your engine compartment, and every ground strap and wire you can find. So many problems are caused by bad grounds it's ridiculous.

When I first picked up my Ram, I had no speed sensor, RAWL, and shifting issues. Took to local mechanic that found a bad wire to the PCM (don't know which one). He fixed it and it cured 2 of my problems.

I tend to agree with JohnD. Check all connectors at PCM. Check for chaffed or broken or loose wires. I resolved a similar issue on BIL Jeep GC by wrapping large hose clamp around PCM (seems to be a common issue on 96 era Grand Cherokees.) It displayed some of the same symptoms. I also wrapped a shielded mesh around cable assemblies to shield from emi.

I assume you're talking about your fuel gauge.

I'd quit focusing on the fuel gauge and check for the loose connection or connections that are probably causing it, and everything else you mentioned, to malfunction.

In order to solve this, you've gotta do the things that are recommended to you and report back on whether or not that fixed the problem.

"there is no cam senser on this truck but i did find the sensor in the distribator doesn't seem to be working right now ..."

The sensor in the distributor is the cam sensor/camshaft position sensor/CMP. They certainly do go bad, but I'm not so sure it explains your symptoms; stalling when hitting bumps, etc ....

How are you determining that it's bad? I'm guessing that you're figuring that no spark + good crank sensor = bad cam sensor, but it still might be something else. Still wondering why your friend's code reader "wouldn't see your computer".

it didnt cut out on all bumps,,,i should have said that before....the crank sensor tests godd because it has 5v in, the ground is good and the output is 5v when it pulse's..."the cam sensor as you call it" has 5v in, good ground and 0v out...after chatting with a dodge dealer's tech i found that some after market sanners won't pick up the computer on some Dodge pick-up's...so thanks for all our help....just waiting for parts to get here....
