How is your heat? My factory gauge reads about 180, but the air is still hot when I use the ehat. However, it is not freezing out in Indiana yet. I remember my heat was not so good in just above freezing temps in Arkansas. Even threw the "engine too cole too long" code.
Are you getting a CEL (Check engine light). Because if you are not, then I would not even worry about it. But you can throw about 30 bucks in parts and see what happens.
I would start with: Ranked in order of cost
1 Radiator cap
2. Thermostat
3. Temp sensor (From dealer, not autozone/napa/oreilleys/etc)
Do them separately and narrow it down.
The thermostat is "easy" to change, but you need to take off the alternator and AC compressor (and both brackets). So it is more of a "assemble/disassemble" thing. Just be sure to put back the ground wires.
