Default RockAuto Parts

I'm in the need for new ball joints, I priced a set from AutoZone for just over $200. I checked RockAuto and can get a set with shipping for $107, Raybestos is the brand, service grand for warranty.

Reason I'm asking is until I joined this forum I never heard of RockAuto and am just wondering if the parts are good quality and worth doing business with.

Thankx

EDIT: I've noticed that zman mention's them often and sent him a private message but his inbox is full.

See if you can find XRF balljoints somewhere. They seem to be top of the line for quality lately.

Consider what they are doing..... and how much depends on them. I don't like going 'cheap' on suspension/steering parts.....

I've bought some parts from RockAuto for my Jeeps before. It's not that RockAuto makes the parts, it's just they distribute them. I've found their shipping to be really quick and depending on what you are getting, the prices 10-20% cheaper than retail at the local parts stores. It's sort of like the Amazon.com of auto parts.

I have bought a few pieces from ROCK AUTO, They have good prices and fast shipping, I see no reason not to use them. The quality of the parts they distribute is very good.

I buy from them almost every day for my service garage.... or at least use their pricing to haggle the local places.
