Question Installed new transmission, now NO BUS

I bought a truck that had been tip on its side. The owners pulled the transmission before I bought it. A newer transmission was put in it, but getting a "no bus" code. It shifts fine runs fine but have the code. Has me stumped. What do you guys know of the no bus code?

All the ground wires look good? Also check and make sure the crank sensor wire is not pinched between the motor and tranny.

What you are talking about is the solenoids. Even if they are wrong for the year, it will not cause a "no bus" . All that will do is, is prevent the the tranny from shifting into OD.

Sorry guys new to the forums, Still trying to find my way around here.
The truck is a 2001 ram 1500 360. The transmission is a 2002. Or so I was told. Have check the grounds and all looks good there. The wires from what I can see are all clear as well. Could it be the solenoid in side the valve body?

I would think a bus error would relate to PCM. Check connectors and make sure they are secure.

The solenoid would only prevent proper shifting - nothing more.
