What is the biggest tire size I can fit on my truck?

Stock dodge ram 16" wheels no lift on the truck, its a 96 ram 1500 2wd reg cab. Whats the biggest 16" tires I can fit without any rubbing or issue?

265/75 should fit without trouble. You might be able to go 285/75, with just a bit of rubbing..... the 2x's sit a bit lower than the 4x's though.....
