It goes from the block drain, to the heater, then to the passenger side heater hose coming from the heater core. So yeah, I have it setup the same way as you, except my T fitting is pointed differently. I had mine mounted towards the front of the truck, so I had to point it forward.

Not yet. I installed it today, and it isn;t even cool yet from when I was burping the system.

I am going to burp the system and then get an extension cord. I forgot that I don't have a heavy duty one (I can't find it).

mine is also pointed to the front of the truck. Don't start the truck with the heater plugged in because the heater is pushing the water in the opposite direction.

A TIMER!!! That seems like a way to be efficient with electricity. Now, what exactly are they? I want to be able to know what I am shopping for. I also need to get a weatherproof cap for the heater.

Thanks!!

well I am using a 240v electric hot water tank timer for mine then have it split into 2 120v rec out by my truck. But you can buy a waterproof 120v timer you plug into a rec them plug your extension cord into the timer. Just get one that will break at least 1500 watt/12.5 amps.

You could use something like this

Ah, I an looking around. I need TWO of them because i will be doing my Wife's car next weekend. I doubt they make one that can hold up for TWO at the same time (Without getting an electrician involved.)

I will probably run mine from the garage plug and my wife's from the outdoor plug.

Now I need to get the extension cords and the timers.

The only reason I have the 240 volt timer is because I had it laying around. I'm an electrician I have all kinds of stuff like that laying around.
Is the garage plug and outdoor plug on the same circuit?
I think that 15 amp is the highest amp rating plug in timer you can get. But its fine because you wont be able to run both heaters on one 20amp circuit anyway
