Default can drb3 reset the death flash?

At my job we have a drb 3 (Chrysler diagnostic tool) and I was wondering if I could use it to reset the death flash. I was curious if I could trick the ecm into thinking I changed the module

The DRB tool simply uploads, and overwrites, what's currently in the PCM, with whatever it has been told to put there. You should, theoretically, be able to upload a custom tune to the DRB, and then use the DRB to write it to the PCM. I haven't used chrysler diagnostic tools of that nature, so, not sure as to what the exact process would be.

I doubt it. Even the techs I've spoke to at the dealer can't do it. Once it's flashed by the dealer, they can't reverse it. You need a tuner, simple as that.

I can confirm zmans post. We can not undo it once done. In theory our equipment should be able to do it but a software lock prevents the upload from completing, all we get is an error.
