If fluid is good, either the governor pressure sensor, or solenoid failed, or, it's time for another rebuild.

Well the fluid was empty but I had just put some in on Sunday and have been watching and there wasn't any sign of a leak anywhere any ideas where it might have been going

Check the radiator, and transfer case......

First thing to do is make sure fluid level is up to where it should be, have to check fluid in neutral, checking in park will give a false reading.

Checked the tranny fluid in neutral still reading good and no leaks seen around transfer case or radiator seems like it wants to take off but doesnt have enough power

Will it move in any gear?

Might be time to drop the pan, and see if you find anything that shouldn't be there.....

I would suggest checking pressures, but, my guess is, you don't have a gauge for that. Might be as easy as a plugged up pressure solenoid, have to drop the pan to find out though.

Drop the pan, pull it out, and have a look...... unless you have access to the right gauge, or a scan tool that will read pressures.
