Go to the FAQ/DIY section. Look on the first page. It has manuals for parts. Look through (the one for your year)it and you will find the OEM part#.

Guess I am curious why you think you need a temp sensor. Are you getting a code?

Temperature sensor is built into the pressure sensor (photo below)

You have to drain the fluid, drop the pan, and it is on bottom of valve body. I would recomment 4 things while you are there - replace governor soleniod, and install a drain plug in pan, and change filter, and check band adjustment (both bands).

I have Mopar part number at home - I can post it later if you cannot find it.

Because we are all mind readers and have great memories from the original post the OP started.

His is a 95. He doesn't have a governor pressure sensor, or solenoid. The only reason he would have a trans temp sensor, is if his truck had the tow package. If it is indeed there, it will be screwed onto a fitting in the line heading out of the trans to the cooler. (right near the trans.)

Check the cooler lines right near the trans, should be an electrical sensor on one of 'em.

hey cutthroat,

i just replaced mine on saturday. i was getting a code 37. i have a '95 with the tow package. i put some photos in this thread:

https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...it-photos.html

my sensor is under the driver's side, to the left of the transmission.

i had trouble finding a replacement at the some of the parts stores. napa calls it a trans coolant sensor. it fixed my CEL code. good luck!
