Crescent is a brand. It's actually just called an adjustable wrench.

Gotcha. I actually have one, it just doesn't open large enough for these bolts. I'll have to pick up a larger one when I get my Torx bit.

Not sure if anyone is interested, but I got the transfer case done tonight. I took the skid plate off before doing it, because it just seemed like there was no avoiding a mess with the ATF while it was in the way. I actually had more trouble with those rusted bolts than I did with the fill and drain bolts on the t-case. Thanks again for the advice, everyone.

Another thing (isn't there always something): the trucks seems to be running a little warm to me. My temp guage is 130 on the low end, and 260 on the high end, with 210 in the middle. It runs at just a hair over 210, even on the highway. I seem to remember my 2001 5.2L running a little below the halfway point, even in the city on hot days. Is this something to be concerned about? It has been fairly cool here, in the 60's since I bought the truck. It seems to be running fine, but could this be a problem when summer rolls around?

210 is a little warm. Check readiator to make sure that there isn't a buch of crap stuck in the fins. How does your fan clutch feel. If it is not engaging, it will run hot. Have you drained and flushed radiator recently? It could have some junk in there. And don't run straight water - it will have adverse effects on componets in cooling system and engine in addition to overheating.

And we are always interested. Sometimes, reading the threads posted by others helps some of us learn about potential problems or resolve problems we may be experiencing!
