When i give it gas i hear a sucking noise, sounds like its near the air filter housing. I hear it when i go up steeper hills too. I did put a new plenum plate and gasket. any ideas? Thanks a lot

Do you have the round gasket installed on top of the throttle body?

No there's not...he said so------but there is SUPPOSED to be one there! Also check the vacuum line to the filter housing. It will make a sucking sound nearly as loud as NAFTA!

No problem, just make sure you get the housing seated properly on the gasket and the clamp tightened correctly.
