What about the TV cable on the TB? Would that have any affect? If you drop it into neutral at a stop light, does it actually idle on its own?

I would think that if a sensor was causing this issue, there would be a code on the reader displaying it. Part of me wants to say clean all the cables at both ends for positive connection just in case of a bad ground, but I think you said you did that already. If I had something that acted like a vacuum issue that I could not track down by replacing vacuum lines, I would start & idle the engine, then get a handheld propane torch, turned on but not ignited, slowly move it around the intake and see if the idle speed changes when you think it would not. The same test can be done with a can of carb/brake parts cleaner, but is a little more dangerous. This can help identify any strange vacuum leaks. Keep us posted!

Carb cleaner/brake clean isn't nearly so flammable as it once was......

The TV cable has nothing to do with it. All it does is change pressure for shifting.

Thanks for all the help...I think I actually had 2 problems at the same time...The hesitation and stalling on acceraltion are fixed...Now it runs great just idles wierd...Sitting still it has a lope to it like its cammed up...let off the gas coming to a stop and idle goes to 100/200 until completly stopped then in a few seconds levels of to normal. Stopped on a hill yesterday put it in neutral and let the truck roll never touched the gas.At about 5 mph the idle went to 100/200..... stopped and it went back to normal...I'm completely lost on this on thanks again to everybody for all the help.....
Gonna check out the speed sensor today....
