That's because for a 3" lift you don't need to do anything with the sway/ stabilizer bar.

IF you off road a lot, and you can live without the sway bar, leave 'em broke. Better flex that way.

If you drive on the highway, tow, or deal with crosswinds, fix 'em before you kill someone. I utilized warrior disconnects off a Cherokee, but Top Gun Customz, Kore, and others offer them as well.

You can always pull the disconnects to off road for low speed flex.

Since you have a 2500, you may be able to use the disco's for a 5 inch lift...your truck is about 5 inches over a 1500 now. I believe a '98 is a stud mount on both ends right? If so, wrangler disco's might work.

You'll want to get the right length, so use a tape measure and make sure your sway bar is high enough so the length of the disconnect makes it parallel with the front coil spring. That way any force from the bar is applied directly into the body to decrease roll.

your links would break long before your coils would pop out, thats why rock crawlers dont use them. they severly limit flex
