Even after market. Plus you don't want to put HIDs in halogen projectors anyway. You will melt the chrome inside.

So what is actually involved in retrofitting? I replaced the lights on mine with OEM style, and want something better. Wife's car and my Toyota ave projector, but I cannot find them for 99 Ram. I looked at all the websites listed in this thread and prbably have more questions than answers. A video of someone retrofitting these and a materials list would be great if one exists.

So these? http://www.ebay.com/itm/94-01-Dodge-...item35b68d2841

Is 9005 the stock bulb in a Ram?

These may look pretty sharp. I am considering changing the bumbers to black and removing chrome badging and tinting windows as dark as I can legally get by with on sides and rear.

noep stock light bulb for these dodges are 9004.. thats non 99-02 sport models....

the 9005 is used for the high beam on the halo head lights cause its a single element light bulb where the 9004 has 2 elements one for low beam and one for high beams

my 99 chevy truck 3500 has 9006 low beams and 9005 for high beams

So the H7 are for low beam. Looking further, it appears these are all 6000K and higher. Aren't the 6000 blueish tint?

Keep your eyes open for a set of sport 99-01 quad bulb headlights, two 9007 and two 9004, no shortage of light, vast inprovment over stock; and I have yet to wire up the two 9004 bulbs.

Looks good. I put that on my watch list. Free shipping is always a good thing! I plan on several upgrades when I do the body work and repaint. That's probably when I will do the lights as I will pull them out to paint anyway.

Thanks.
