What's it doing? Engine miss? RPM bouncing up and down?

Welcome to the forum.

Let's consider some simple stuff first. Did you just buy the truck? Had it been sitting around for a while with a partially-filled gas tank? Maybe you've just got some water in there. Throw in some drygas and see if the problem goes away.

For an intermittent miss, I think next down on the list would be an electrical component on the way out, like the crank sensor, cam sensor, or coil.

Better yet, two of them hand in hand .....

Is there Cher music playing that the truck wants to skip while holding hands with another truck?

Man, I just don't know how you can state that as a fact, especially when it's a sudden, intermittent problem.

Does the truck get up to operating temp before all this starts or does it do it at any time? A little more info would be nice.

I don't know how you can take my comment seriously, "especially when it's a sudden, intermittent problem."

Side note, I think you may need to change the oil in your sarcasm detection unit.

Yeah, I'll do that right after you grease up your smilie button.
