Cool 2001 dodge 1500 auto/manual swap

hello im new at this i have a 2001 dodge 1500 with 5.9L V8 matched up with a auto/ i love the turck to death but hate autos so i found a 2001 2500 that had the 5.9L V8 with the NV4500 and yes i got it in and it runs but i could not ues the PCM it would throw a code up stream o2 sensor 1/1 than i put the original pcm back in now it throwing transmission codes witch dont affect how it runs, does anyone have some edvice for me can i use a pcm out of a 1500 dodge with the 5.2L with a manual pcm?? thats where im at over all it was a great build and runs fine i just dont like the check engien light on is all.

Did you swap over the wiring harness from the manual truck as well? Wonder if you plugged the upstream sensor into the downstream connector?

That is a good question.

In order to get the PCM to play nice, assuming the harness was swapped, the forums here call out 2 ways to get it sorted: dealer flash and a 3rd party company.
